Lighthouse offers an engaging and challenging work experience placement for students. Over the course of the placement, students will learn about a range of roles at Lighthouse, both backstage and front of house with the aim of giving them real-world knowledge and experience of the inner workings of a nationally significant arts centre and of the creative industries in the UK and beyond.

There will be a chance to shadow most departments so that students leave us with an in-depth understanding of the work required across the building to deliver our broad and exciting programme each year. These departments include, Programming, Front of House, Marketing, HR, Fundraising, Creative Engagement and Technical.

We have limited spaces and students will be required to attend an interview and discuss why they would like to complete their work experience at Lighthouse. Please note we are unable to offer any other dates outside of these sessions.
